A meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment was held in
the City Administration Building on September 4, 1964. The
meeting was called to order at 2:10 P. M. by Chairman Charles
Roe with the following members present.
Chairman Roe explained that the meeting was called to
approve or reject the Building application of A. R. Widmer for
installation of three C3) 8,00 gallon tanks for the storage
of fuel and diesel oil on the property described as below.
Inasmuch as this property is located in a T-C Zone, the request
for the installation had been referred to the Zone Board of
Adjustment and duly advertised.
Fractional E 1/2 of NE 1/4 of Section 30, Township 22
South, Range 26 East lying South of State Road 50, and
described as follows: For a Point of Beginning begin
at a point on the Southerly boundary of said State Road
50 a distance of 30 feet Westerly of the Eastern boundary
of said Sec. 30, Two 22 S Rg 26E, and run thence Southerly
and parallel to the Eastern boundary of said Sec. 30 a
distance of 210 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence
continue Southerly and parallel to said Eastern boundary
of Sec. 30 a distance of 50 feet; thence Westerly and
at right angles to the said Eastern boundary of Sec. 30
a distance of 30 feet; thence Northerly and parallel to
said Eastern boundary of Sec. 30 a distance of 50 feet;
thence Easterly 60 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Mr. McCaffrey explained that the installation under considera-
tion would consist basically of whatever was necessary to
maintain bulk storage of fuel and diesel oil and truck loading
facilities.
Motion was made by Mr. Innis, seconded by Mr. Bishop that
permission be granted for this installation as proposed. Upon
roll call vote the result was: YEAS 3, NAYS 4. Absent: I,oesch
and Czech. Total Yeas 3., and so the motion carried.
