08-23-1966 Regular MeetingZONING BOARD OF ADJUST1~fENT i" ,~ An adjourned meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjust~'was held at the Jenkins Auditorium on Tuesday, August 23, 1966. Present were Messrs. V. A. Oswalt, Max Judy, Clarence Bishop and John York, and Secretary Mildred Dollar. Chairman Oswalt called the meeting to order at 10:30 a. m. and explained that the meeting was called to consider an application from Mr. D. Fi. Moore for a variance of the side yard requirement to erect a carport on Lot 10 and the West half of Lot 9, Block 1, zoned as R-2. After thorough consideration of the application, motion was made by Mr. Bishop, seconded by Mr. York and unanimously carried, that the request for this variance be denied on the grounds that it could not be considered a hardship and that to grant the variance would tend to be detrimental to the whole neighborhood.
