05-18-2004 Regular Meeting• CITY OF CLERMONT MINUTES CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MAY 18, 2004 The regular meeting of the Code Enforcement Board was called to order on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. Members attending were Joe Janusiak, Paul Lienard, Peter Geigel and Stephen Berlinsky. Sharon Martin and Alvin Schein were absent. Also attending were Betty McMinamen, Code Enforcement Officer, Robert Guthrie, City Attorney and Jane C. McAllister, Code Enforcement Clerk. The minutes from the Code Enforcement Board meeting of April 20, 2004 were approved as written. Chairman Paul Lienard gave the floor to Code Enforcement Officer Betty McMinamen. Smail Jr. 707 E. Minnehaha Avenue Clermont, FL. 34711 Code Enforcement Officer Betty McMinamen told the Board that the owner of this property has asked for and received several extensions of the lien start date. The most recent expired on April 20, 2004. The owner had until May 3rd to contact this office to be heard at this meeting. Ms. McMinamen went on to say that this property is still not in compliance. Thomas Smail, 707 E. Minnehaha Ave, Clermont, FL was sworn in and he would like to address the board in reference to this complaint. He went on to say that he thinks his property is in compliance and he his living at this address now. • Betty McMinamen told Mr. Smail exactly what items have not been complied. Board Member Berlinsky asked the Respondent to look at the photos of the property taken on May 17, 2004 and to tell the Board if they are accurate photos. Mr. Smail looked at the photos and confirmed that they are an accurate representation of what the property looks like. The Board determined that the property is not in compliance and chose to take no action. Mr. Guthrie said the City would then file the lien which is for $200.00 per week starting on April 20, 2004.
