MINUTES
CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD
September 16. 1986

The regular scheduled meeting of the Code Enforcement Board was
called to order by Mr. Leonard Baird, the City Attorney. Mr.
Baird advised the board, that since the Chairman was absent and
the Vice Chairman was no longer on the Code Enforcement Board,
it would be necessary to elect a vice-chairman.
Mrs. Higgins nominated Mr. Joe Wiebush, who was elected by an
unamious vote.
Members attending were Emma Higgin, Joe Wiebush, Martin Wright,
Edward Whitehead and Ron Cardin. Members Russell Wagner and
William McKinney were excused. Also attending were City Attorney
Leonard Baird, Planning Director Dean Perlick and Code
Fhforcement Clerk Jane Warren.
Minutes of the meeting held August 19, 1986 were approved as
presented.
HEARING N0.86-007- City of Clermont vs. Jimmy Lee Jackson
Mr. Per 1 ick stated the trash had been removed but there sti 1 1
were problems with the vehicles remaining on the premises.
Mr. Perlick also stated it would expedite matters if the case
were turned over to the Police Department and have them remove
the vehicles.
Mr. Baird asked Mr. Jackson if he needed more time to remove the
vehicles. Mr Jackson stated he had no other place to store these
vehicles.
After further discussion a motion was made by Mr. Whitehead to
give Mr. Jackson thirty (30) days to remove the vehicles, if at
this time the vehicles are still present, the case will be
referred to the Police Department. The motion was seconded by Mr.
Wright, and was approve by a 3-2 vote. Members Wiebush, Wright,
and Whitehead voting aye. Members Higgins and Carden voting nay.
Cage No.86-008 City of Clermont vs. Tam Smail
Mr. Per 1 ick stated that the structure had been removed and the
case was resolved.
A motion was made by Mr. Carden to dismiss the case, seconded by
Mrs. Higgins and approved by unamious vote.
Case No. 86-009 City of Clermont vs. Richard Miller
Mr. Perlick stated in a letter received from Mr. Miller, the
occupants of the house agreed to correct the violation, but the
violation still exists.

After a brief discussion a motion was made by Mrs. Higgins to

1986 until the violation is corrected, and seconded by Ron
Carden. The motion was approved by unamious vote.
There being no further business to come before the Board the
meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
