05-09-1985 Workshop Meeting - CITY OF CLERMONT .' MINUTES WORKSHOP MEETING May 9, 1985 A Workshop Meeting of the City Council of the City Council of the City of Clermont was held Thursday, May 9, 1985 in the City Hall Conference Room. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Pool at 7:10 p.m. with the following Council Members in attendance: Mayor Pro Tem Turville, Council Member Huff, Council Member Henry, and Council Member Cole. Deputy City Clerk Brandt was also present. The purpose of this meeting was to begin the selection process to find a new City Manager. Fifty-seven resumes had been received for the position, and this field of applicants was to be narrowed to five or six for final interviews. Prior to the meeting, each Council Member had received copies of the resumes and applicant evaluation forms. Resumes with the highest point totals were separated and discussed in detail during the meeting. During the first round of evaluations, the field was narrowed to thirteen. Much discussion ensued concerning these applicants, and after further careful evaluation, five applicants were chosen for final evaluation. They were: J. Michael Moore of Bardstown, Kentucky~ Anton H. Harwig of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Albert R. Pierce of Phoenix, Arizona~ Edward F. Musick of Bristol, Virginia~ and Wayne Saunders of Clermont, Florida. Due to the lateness of the hour, it was the consensus of Council to meet on Wednesday, May 15, 1985 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room to continue with the selection process.
