WORKSHOP MEETING
April 1, 1985
A Workshop Meeting of the City Council of the City of Clermont was
held Monday, April 1, 1985 in the City Hall Conference Room. The
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Pool at 7:10 p.m. with the
following Council Members in attendance: Council Member Henry,
Council Member Cole, Council Member Huff and Mayor Pro Tem Turville.
Other City Officials present were City Manager Forbes and Finance
Director Saunders.
It was explained that the purpose of this meeting was to discuss
and make any changes deemed necessary to the proposed City's Future
Land Use District Map.
ESTABLISHED RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT 1 (ERD 1)
No revisions were made to this section.
ESTABLISHED RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT 2 (ERD-2)
Under permitted land uses the following change was made:
Item #3 was changed to read "Business and professional offices may
be allowed on the east side of East Avenue south to Chestnut Street
and north to Highway 50, and also on the west side of Bowman Street
south to Almond Street and north to Highway 50".
ESTABLISHED RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT 3 (ERD-3)
No revisions were made to this section.
ESTABLISHED RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT 4 (ERD-4)
Item #3 was changed to read "New residential development will be
limited to a maximum density of 5 dwelling units per acre".
ESTABLISHED RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT 5 (ERD-5)
Item #3 was changed to read "New residential development will be
limited to a maximum density of 5 dwelling units per acre".
ESTABLISHED RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT 6 (ERD-6)
Item #1 was changed to read "Single family detached residences and
duplex development in areas presently zoned R-2".
Item #3 was changed to read "New single family residential development
will be limited to a maximum density of 5 dwelling units per acre.
Duplex development allowed to a maximum density of 8 units per acre."
ESTABLISHED RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT 7 (ERD-7)
No revisions were made to this section.
NON-ESTABLISHED DISTRICT 1 (NED-I)
No revisions were made to this section.
NON-ESTABLISHED DISTRICT 2 (NED-2)
Item #4 was changed to read "New residential development will be
limited to a maximum density of 12 dwelling units per acre".

No revisions were made to this section.

CITY-WIDE CRITERIA FOR DEVELOPMENT
Item #7 was changed to read "New residential development should
provide adequate parks and recreation facilities for the resi-
dents of the development".
Item #9 was added to the list of criteria and reads as follows:
II All land used to calculate density requirements must be usable
land. Land below the ordinary high water mark is not considered
usable" .
There being no further discussion, the meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
