CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, CLOSING AND PERMANENTLY
ABANDONING ANY AND ALL 30 FOOT RIGHTS-OF-WAY SHOWN ON THE PLAT
OF LAKE HIGHLANDS COMPANY, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 3, PAGE 24, PUBLIC RECORDS OF LAKE COUNTY
FLORIDA, OVER AND UPON THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED TRACTS: TRACTS
45A, 45B, 46, 47A, 47B, 48, 49, 50A, SOB, 51, 52, 62, 63, AND 64, LAKE HIGHLANDS
COMPANY, IN SECTION 32, TOWNSHIP 22 SOUTH, RANGE 26 EAST, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, LYING EAST OF THE EASTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF
US HIGHWAY NO. 27; AND TRACTS 57 AND 58, LAKE HIGHLANDS COMPANY, IN

REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida hereby ordains that:
SECTION 1:
That any and all 30 foot Rights-of-Way located within the City of Clermont, Lake
County, Florida as hereinafter described is hereby closed and permanently abandoned:
Any and all 30 foot Rights-of-Way shown on the plat of Lake Highlands Company,
according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 24, Public Records of Lake County,
Florida, over and upon the following described tracts: Tracts 45A, 45B, 46, 47A, 47B, 48, 49,
50A, 50B, 51, 52, 62, 63, and 64, Lake Highlands Company, in Section 32, Township 22 South,
Range 26 East, Lake County, Florida lying east of the easterly right-of-way line ofDS Highway
No. 27; and Tracts 57 and 58, Lake Highlands Company, in Section 33, Township 22 South,
Range 26 East, Lake County, Florida.
SECTION 2:
This closing is done pursuant to the authority of the Charter of the City of Clermont, Lake
County, Florida and the general laws of the State of Florida.

SECTION 3:
All ordinances or parts of this ordinance in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4:
Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid by any court of competent
jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not apply to or affect any other provision of this Ordinance,
except to the extent that the entire section or part of the section may be inseparable in meaning
and effect from the section to which such holding shall apply.
SECTION 5:
This ordinance shall be effective upon the recording of the dedication of right-of-way for Citrus
Tower Boulevard south of John's Lake Road as said right-of-way is depicted in the Planned Unit
Development for Lost Lake Reserve adopted on February 27,2001 by Resolution No. 1186.
First Reading this 24th day of July, 2001.
Second Reading this 14th day of August, 2001.
