Contract 2024-088ARENEWAL OF VOLUNTARY COOPERATION AND OPERATIONAL ASSISTANCE MUTUAL -
AID AGREEMENT
This Renewal of Voluntary Cooperation and Operational Assistance Agreement is entered into and
effective as of the 1" day of January, 2025 by and between PEYTON C. GRINNELL, as Sheriff of Lake
County, Florida and Clermont, Florida.
WHEREAS, the below signed parties entered into a Voluntary Cooperation and Operational
Assistance Agreement on September 17, 2020 (hereinafter AGREEMENT) for the purpose of establishing
voluntary cooperation and operational assistance for adjacent waterways;
WHEREAS, the terms of the AGREEMENT provided for the renewal of the AGREEMENT for an
additional four (4) year period upon the expiration of the original term; and
WHEREAS, the below signed parties desire to continue the AGREEMENT for an additional four
(4) year period.
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises, covenants, and conditions
hereinafter contained, the below signed parties agree that the AGREEMENT is renewed, upon the same
terms and conditions as originally contained therein, for an additional four (4) year period commencing on
January 1, 2025 and ending on December 31, 2029.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Sheriffs have made and executed this Renewal on the respective
dates over each signature.
