1966-08LEASE This Indenture, Entered into this 20th day of August, 1966, between C. WELBORN DANIEL and BETTY C. DANIEL,. his wife, hereinafter referred to as the Lessors, and the CITY OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the Lessee. WHEREFORE, upon consideration of the sum of TWENTY -FIVE ($25.00) DOLLARS (which sum represents the first year's rent) and the hereinafter mutual covenants and promises, the Lessors hereby lease unto the Lessee the he;reimifter described real property being' and situated in the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida: The North 60 feet of the South 87 feet of Lot 19 and the North 60 feet of the South 87 feet of the West 20 feet of Lot 17, all in Block 80, according to the official map of Clermont, Florida. and further provided that: 1. The Lessee shall, as soon as practical, pave the above described property according to the specifica.tions as set forth in the Clermont City Code and Ordinances. 2. The Lessee shall pay the sum of TWENTY FIVE ($25.00) DOLLARS per year, beginning September 1, 1966 (payment of which is hereby acknowledged by the Lessors concurrent with the execution of this lease) and on the first of September of each year thereafter. It being the intent of these parties that this agreement shall extend until August 31, 1976 unless terminated prior thereto as herein provided. 3. The Lessors may terminate this lease at any time upon thirty days notice to the Lessee, provided, however, that if the Lessors shall elect to terminate this lease within five years from the date hereof, they shall pay the Lessee the sum of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY. ($250.00) DOLLARS as. penalty therefor. 4. The Lessee shan keep said property in good repair for the duration of this agreement and shall hold the Lessors harmless from any claim for damages occasioned on said . property. 5. The Lessors shall keep current all county and city taxes and all special assessments. Witnesses: .
