Whereas, Jerome Rosenberg was born on April 15, 1925, in Boston, Massachusetts, and has
dedicated his life to service, family, and personal growth; and
Whereas, Mr. Rosenberg is the proud father of three children and grandfather to twelve
grandchildren, a testament to the lasting legacy of love and wisdom he has imparted to his family;
and
Whereas, Mr. Rosenberg served his country with distinction during both World War II and the
Korean War as an electrical engineer working on airplanes, contributing his skills to the defense
of our nation; and
Whereas, Mr. Rosenberg's academic achievements are impressive, with degrees in electrical
engineering, finance, and music, demonstrating his commitment to lifelong learning and
intellectual curiosity; and
Whereas, for many years, Mr. Rosenberg owned and operated a successful burglar and fire
alarm business, which he later sold to Honeywell, marking a significant achievement in his
entrepreneurial journey; and
Whereas, this upcoming July 4th, Mr. Rosenberg and his beloved wife will celebrate an
extraordinary 78 years of marriage, a milestone reflecting their enduring love and partnership; and
Whereas, in his leisure time, Mr. Rosenberg enjoys listening to great music and playing golf,
hobbies that reflect his appreciation for both the arts and physical activity; and
Whereas, Mr. Rosenberg lives by the wise words, "We grow old too soon and smart too late,"
encouraging others to stay active and engaged throughout their lives, both physically and mentally,
and to exercise regularly, at least three times per week, to maintain a healthy mind and body;
WOW, Therefore, I, Tim Murry, Mayor of the City of Clermont in the State of Florida, do
hereby proclaim the 15th of April, Two Thousand and Twenty -Five as:
