09-06-1957 Regular Meeting REGULAR r-1EJ~TnTG -- A re~ular meeting of the City Council of the City of Clermont was held at the city hall on Tuesday, September 6, 1957. The minutes of the meetings held on August 20 and August 22, 1957, were read and approved. Rettha Anderson 1,\Therein complaint was made of pI'owling dogs, speeding cars and feneral unnecessary noise and misconduct. Clerk Johnson W8.S requested to anST\Ter the letter. Mr. Roe stated that Smith & Gilispie are to consult with the Council on September loth. They wish a fiscal agent appointed in oonnection with the bond issue for financing the proposed sewage system for the City of Clem ont. The attorney's tee was then discussed. It was felt that the fee should be only in connection with the bond issue, not relative to easements, rights of ways, etc., to be taken up at a later date. The preparation of revenue certificates is less extensive this year than last year. The lee stated in the proposed contract with B. J. y~ lngen & Company, Inc. is $14.50 per $1,000.00. Mr. Morse stated that he considered 1/8 to 1/4 of 1 percent a r'asonable fe for his activities in regard to the bond issue, when a fiscal is acting for the city. Obtaining property tor the proposed sewage disposal plant was then di soussed. The proposed oontract with B. J. Van Ingen & Co., Inc. was rovi.ed and considered satisfactory, but action on it was deferred until a later date.
