HomeMy WebLinkAboutProclamation 2025-11PFROCIAMAVOJVI Whereas, small businesses are the backbone of our economy, representing the spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship, and community investment; and Whereas, small businesses contribute significantly to local economies by creating jobs, providing unique goods and services, and fostering a sense of place and identity within our neighborhoods; and Whereas, supporting small businesses strengthens our communities by encouraging economic diversity, resilience, and sustainable growth; and Whereas, it is in the public interest to recognize and celebrate the vital role that small businesses play in the prosperity and cultural richness of our towns and cities; and Whereas, the City of Clermont encourages all residents, visitors, and members of our community to support local entrepreneurs by shopping, dining, and engaging with small and independently -owned businesses on the second Saturday of the month throughout the year; and Whereas, Let this day serve as a recurring reminder of the value and importance of our small business community and the lasting impact of our collective support. Wow, Therefore, I, Tim Murry, Mayor of the City of Clermont in the State of Florida, do hereby proclaim the second Saturday of each month as: Smaff Bus "Mess Saturday In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the City of Clermont to be affixed this 1 Oth Day of June in the year Two Thousand and Twenty - Five.
