BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
A duly advertised meeting of the City Council of the City of
Clermont, sitting as a Board of Equalization, to hear complaints, if
any, concerning the assessed valuation of real and personal property
as shown on the 1963 Tax Roll, as submitted by the Assessor, was
held in the City Administration Building on Tuesday, July 23, 1963.
The meeting was called to order by Council Chairman Clarence
Bishop at 7~30 P. M. with the following named Council members present:
Messrs. Bishop, Hutchingson and Turville. Absent: Messrs. York and
Hoskinson. Mayor Bon Jorb, City Attorney Morse, City Clerk Johnson
and a representative of Hunnicutt and Associates, appraiser for the
City of Clermont, were also present.
Chairman Bishop advised all present that complaints would be
heard and considered, but that final decisions would not be reached
until a later meeting.
The following named persons requested reductions in valuation by
letters on file and by appearing before the Board in person:

Mr. Vernon Schneider
Mrs. Lucy Woodruff
Letters from the following named were read by the City Clerk:
Mrs. Jennie Armstrong
Mr. John Parks.
Dr. R. L. Witherington
At the conclusion the meeting was adjourned until August 6, 1963,
or subject to call by the Chairman.
