SPECIAL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City Of Clermont
was held in the City Administration Building on Monday, November 25,
1963.
As neither the Council Chairman or Vice Chairman were present
Councilman Hoskinson nominated Councilman Hutchingson as Chairman
Pro Tem. Councilman York seconded the nomination and as there
were no other nominations Councilman Hutchingson was unanimously
elected as Chairman Pro Tem of the Clermont City Council.
Chai~nan Pro Tem Hutchingson called the ~eeting to order at
5:00 P. M. with the following named Councilmen present: Messrs.
Hoskinson, York and Hutchingson. Absent: Messrs. Bishop and
Turville. Mayor Bon Jorn and City Clerk Johnson were also present.
City Clerk Johnson reported that nine nominating petitions had
been fileci, subject to the General Election to be held on December 10,
1963; that the petitions had been checked and found to be in order
and that -tihe nominations were as follows:
For Mayor:
Joseph BonJorn, E. O. Hodge and Charles B. Roe.
For Councilman, Group 2: Clarence Bishop, Charles Pool, Jr.
and J. M. VanderMeer
For Councilman, Group 4: Arthur Ekiert, James Freeman and John
York.
Motion was made by Councilman Hoskinson that the petitions are found
to be in order; that the candidates be declared qualified and that
the City Clerk be authorized to have the necessary ballots prepared.
The motion was seconded by Councilman York and unanimously carried.
Motion by Councilman York, seconded by Councilman Hoskinson and
carried that the meeting adjourn.
