A Special l<ieeting of the City Council of the City of Clermont
was held'in the office of the City Clerk on February 24, 1964.
The meeting was called to order at 1:30 P. M. by Mayor Joseph BonJorn,
with all Councilmen present. City Clerk Johnson was also present.
Motion was made by Mr. Turvil1e, seconded by Mr. Pool and unani-
mously carried, that the rule of written notice for ~pecial Council
meeting oe waived and the City Council be in session to consider
any business which may come before it.
The minutes of the meeting held on February 18th, 1964 were
approved as read.
Motion was made by Mr. Hutchingson, seconded by Mr. Hoskinson,
and unanimously carried that Mr. Roy Caldwell be appointed as
Attorney, or Counsel, to represent the City of Clermont in contesting
the Court Order being requested by E. T. Brantly and Charles Roe
restraining the City Council and A & R Properties from fulfilling
the terms of a contract, entered into by the City of Clermont and
A & R Properties, for the construction of a municipal building,
generally referred to as a Police and Fire Department Building.
Motion, by Hoskinson, seconded by Pool, and carried that meeting
adjourn.
