SCOPE OF SERVICES
CITY OF CLERMONT
EASTERN WATER RECLAMATION FACILITY EXPANSION
(ADDITIONAL SERVICES RELATED TO COATINGS FOR EXISTING STRUCTURES)
I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Contractor for the Eastern Water Reclamation Facility Expansion anticipates that work will be
completed to a point of substantial completion in July/August 2025. The City desires to engage a
consultant familiar with structural conditions, concrete rehabilitation, and recoating to inspect the
existing structures and make recommendations for repair, surface preparation and recoating. It is
anticipated that most structures will be in good condition and that only minor repairs, such as
crack injection will be necessary. Subsequent to the inspection work and preparation of
recommendations, the City desires to have the current Contractor implement the
recommendations under a change order to the current contract. In general, this scope includes:
1. A brief field investigation.
2. Preparation of a memorandum summarizing the findings from the field visit and
recommended repair and coating work.
3. Administrative services such as price review and change order preparation.
Services described herein will be performed in accordance with the City of Clermont, Florida and
Tetra Tech, Inc. Agreement for Professional Engineer Services dated November 12, 2019.
II. SCOPE OF SERVICES
1. Provide the services of a qualified structural engineer to conduct a field investigation and
make recommendations in memorandum format summarizing the findings related to
current conditions, suggested repairs, and recoating. This work effort assumes that the
City will drain and clean the structures as required for inspection.
2. Prepare technical documentation for pricing by current project Contractor.
3. Review the Contractor’s proposed pricing and prepare an appropriate change order with
supporting documentation.
II. COMPENSATION SUMMARY
The total compensation for the Scope of Services described in Section II is $11,685. Compensation
will be based on lump sum basis. Attachment A presents a detailed breakdown of estimated
manhours and associated compensation for the Scope of Services.

IV. SCHEDULE
The initial evaluation, drawings, and specifications will be complete within four (4) weeks of the notice to
proceed. The remain aspects of the assignment will be completed in response to the Contractor’s
schedule.
