08-06-1964 Adjourned Meeting . e MINUTES N? 163 An adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Clermont was held in the City Administration building on Thursday, August 6, 1964. The meeting was called to order by Mayor BonJorn at 7:45 P.M. with the following named Councilmen present: York, Hoskinson and Pool. Absent: Hutchingson and Turville. Others present were: Sup't. Sheldon, Mr. James Westbrook and City Clerk Johnson. Mr. Westbrook, of Michaels Engineering Company, explained the plans and specifications which he was submitting and recommending for water works improvement. The Councilmen present were in agree- ment of the plans but in the absence of Mr. Hutchingson, the Water Department Chairman, did not feel disposed to take official action. Motion was made by Mr. Hoskinson, seconded by Mr. York and carried, that the meeting adjourn u:g.til Friday, =1' 1964 at 2:00 P.M. in the City Administration building. In the absence of Mayor BonJorn, the meeting was called to order by Mr. Norris Hutchingson, Council President, at 2:00 P.M. Councilmen present were: Hutchingson, Hoskinson, York. Clerk Johnson was also present. -,'- Following a discussion of the plans and specifications for Water Works improvements, as submitted and recommended by Michaels Engineering Company, motion was made by Mr. Hoskinson, seconded by Mr. York and carried, that the plans and specifications submitted and' recomTIlended by Michaels Engineering Company for Water Works im- provements be BpprG5ved, and that the Resolution adopted at a Council meeting held on July 7, 1964 authorizing the sale of a Water Revenue Certificate in the amount of $50,000.00 for Water Works Improvements be ratified. Motion was made by Mr. York, seconded by Mr. Hoskinson and carried, that the City Clerk be authorized to advertise for bids on the proposed ~~ter Works Improvements and that September 1, 1964, at 7:30 P.M. in the City Administration building be set as the date, time and place for the opening of the bids. Motion by Mr. Hoskinson, seconded by Mr. York and carried, that in addition to the approval and acceptance of the plans and speci- fications submitted by Michaels Engineering Company for Water Works improvements, that additional approval and authorization be given for the installation of a water level emergency signal light at an approx- imate cost of $400.00. Motion by Mr. York, seconded by Mr. Hoskinson and carried, that the meeting adjourn until Au~stl18, 1964.
