08-11-1964 Board of Equalization Meeting e e BOA~D OF EQ~lIJ~MEETING N?" 164 The City Council of the City of Clermont, sitting as a Board of Equalization to hear complaints, if any, regarding the tentative tax roll for the year 1964, was held in the City Administration Building on Tuesday, August 11, 1964. The meeting was called to order by Mayor BonJorn at 7:30 P. M. with all Councilmen present. Other City officials and agents present were City Attorney Roy Caldwell, City Clerk Johnson and Mr. H. W. Seiple, of Hunnicutt and Associates, appraisers for the City of Clermont as agents of the Tax Assessor. Mayor BonJorn advised those present that complaints would be heard but that decisions would be made at a later time after giving their complaints careful consideration. Each individual complaint was considered separately and each property concerned was discussed with the appraiser. Some adjustments were con- sidered by the Board of Equalization and certain adjustments were recommend- ed by the appraiser. Errors made in calculation were corrected. Motion was made by l'1r. Hoskinson, seconded by Mr. Turville, and carried that the meeting adjourn until August 18, 1964 immediately following the Council meeting. - ::-f ,-,,:,,
