Upon the 'recommendation of City Manager, McIntosh,' moti'on was made by
Mr. Hoskinson, seconded by Mr. Beals 'and' unanimou'sly carried that .the' .
low bid of' $2,2,9,3"0.0 ,submitted by, Stalnaker, Chevrolet .company on a 1965
Model Biscayne 500, be 'accepted and the. 'neces's'ary purchase'order issued and
paid from the General Contingency Fund.
Mr. McIntosh :further reported that :although bids for the :re-'roofing
of the.city. Administrative 'Bui1di~g had bee'n solicited in the local presS"
and six invitations mailed, only one bid had bee'n: recei:vedithat :the' 'one
bid was 'from Central Sheet Metal and Roofing Company at'$945".OO'for the "
job whichcarried a twenty ye'ar bond. It \'las ,the: :recoIninendation of 'Mr. ,
McIntosh that .thebid be 'accepted. Motion was made by Mr.: Hoskinson, seconded
