SPECIAL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Clermont was
held in the office of the City Clerk on Friday, October 8, 1965. In
the absence of Mayor BonJorn the meeting was called to order by
Council President James Hoskinson at 4:00 P. M. Council members present
were: Messrs. John York, Charles Pool and James"Hoskinson. Absent:
Messrs. Charles Pool and Harold Turvi11e. 0thers present were City
Clerk Johnson and Police Chief Tyrlda1.
Upon the recommendation of A. M. Johnson, ex-officio supervisor
of registration,' motion was made by Mr. York, seconded by Mr. Pool
and carried, that the names of the persons listed below be removed
from the registration rolls due to their death or to the fact that
they are no longer residents of the City of Clermont.
Deceased: Vernon Brower, Katie Douglas, Clara Hancock, James Harris,
Oscar Kopf, Edna Mitch, Augusta Moore, B. C. Myatt, William Oswalt,
Benjamin Perry and John Dresser. Moved from the City: Ernest Denslow,
William Anderson, Jane McElhiney, Roger McElhiney, Rumo1ph Siebert
and John Tinsley.
The ballot box was inspected and prepared for the Special Election
of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida to be held on Tuesday,
October 12, 1965.
w. R. Wittenmyer was appointed Officer of Election and the keys
to the ballot box and the Registration rolls turned over to Police
Chief Tynda1 for delivery to Officer Wittenmyer or Dru Rambo, Clerk
of Election.
A motion was made by Mr. York, seconded by Mr. Pool, and carried
that meeting adjourn.

the Special Election of the City of Clermont,
