Disease," is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain
and spinal cord, leading to loss of muscle control and eventually impacting a person's
ability to speak, move, eat, and breathe; and
`WFLd!!7-6LL4. ALS affects thousands of individuals and families each year, bringing
emotional, physical, and financial hardships to patients, caregivers, and loved ones; and
�ti►T`i6YeG�4� families in the Clermont community have experienced firsthand the
devastating impact of AILS and continue to courageously share their stories to raise
awareness and inspire hope for future treatments and a cure; and
1'V�'LBYBRs� Clermont resident Dave Keeble passed away from ALS in 2022 at just 50
Years old, after a courageous five-year battle with the disease during which his wife and
three daughters witnessed the profound effects of ALS on their husband and father; and
^���26YBLL4� throughout his illness, Dave Keeble remained a dedicated advocate for ALS
patients and continued supporting awareness and advocacy efforts until fle became too ill
to do so; and
