The meeting was called to .rder at 7:30 P. M. with all C8uncil members present. Others present wore May~r Beyd, City atterney M@rse, Supt. Shelden, Pelice Chief Clark and fireman J. B. Fullw@ed. Mr. Razz Bewen and Mr. Fred Driggs were present in regards the purchase (!)f a police car. ' Clerk J.hns8n ~pened and read bids fer the sale ef a car f~r p~lice w~rk frem Harper Met&r nempany, Oscar Bryan Ferd and Sun Chevrelet Ce., and the matter ef accepting a bid was tabled until later in the meeting. It was decided that the filling-in .f certain parts @f the shere line ef Lake Win3na, fer the purpose $f widening and pretecting the street ar.und the lake, weuld be p$stpsned until fill dirt was available frQm the Seuth Lake Memerial h.spital site and ether SQurces. Metien was made by Winsten, secended by Olivenbaum and carried that the Clerk netify present and prespective use8S ef ice making machines that it was the recemmendatien ~f the city that they have autematic cGntr.ls installed en their machines in erder that said mauhines w8uld be pretected fr0m damage in the event that the city water supply might fail due t. c@nditiens beyend its cC!lntrel. ,~ Atterney Merse effered a sample ef a Resolutien relat~ve t. the centrel .f streets, alleys andseferth in new subdivisi$ns. Mr. Winst@n effered and m@ved that it be passed, AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ZONING REGULATIONS AND PROVIDING FOR THE ADEINISTRATION AND ENFORCEiviENT THEREOF, which Ordinance was read in full. The m~tien was sec@nded by Mr. K@nsler and unanam.usly carried. Mr. K$nsler m8ved that the rules be waived and that the Ordinance be read the secsnd time by title enly. The metien was sec@nded by Mr. Sickler and unanameusly carried. After the secend reading, by title snly, Mr. Sickler meved that the rules be further waived and that the Ordina~ge be placed up.n its passage.
