Mr. Winston stated that he very much favored the use of the money for the construction as outlined and that he felt certain the various clubs using the building would be agreeable to working out some program with the youth movement. Mr. Meeker stated that he was opposed to the project; that he felt that the youth ~f~Ttl1el1.!'iommunity would not be allowed to use the building as much as they should, and that future Council action could take away their rights entirely, and that if funds were available for any additional project he wished it to me a matter of record that he favored using such funds for waterworks expansion. Mr. Konsler and Mr. Sickler stated that they were not prepared to make a decision without further thought on the matter and Mr. Konsler moved that the matter be tabled until the next meeting. The motion was seconded by Mr. ~eeker ana when put to a vote carried with Mr. Winston voting No. ~ ~ Mr. Winston stated that he could not see any reason for the postponment of action on the matter and unless the project was started immediately it would be better to wait until next summer.
