05-09-1952 Regular Meeting Adjournod Council Tieeting. The adjeurned meetinG of the city Council of tho city of Clermont vms ho 10. at the city ha 11, Lay 9, 1952. -~ .,., The meoting was called to 01'0.01' by Council Prosident, T. C. Cork, Jr., with tho following monbers prosent: l1inston, Forguson and George. Others being prosent woro Attorney Morse, ?olice Chief 3rooks, Superintendent Sheldon and Mr. Fullwood. Tho minutes of the meetings held April 16th., April 21st., A.pril 28th., and r,:ay 6th., all 1952, wore read and approved as read. Hr. FOrE;uson repol.,tod unfavorable condition at p;arbar,e dump and recoTImlended that signs be placed desiginating the proper placo for garbage and refuse to bo dumpod and restriction of other aroas. Mr. Sheldon was instructed to propare the necessary signs and to take other necessary steps to have tIlis condition corrected. A general discussion took place regarding the new well and Clork Johnson Vlas instructod to inform l'~r. Crowe of Black Laboratories that the Council is not satisfied that the well will produce according to contract, but that would be ploased to moot with him at his convenience and receive a full report and his recornmenda tions . Clerk Johnson VIaS instructod to inform Fr. Duff that tho city could not make any connni tr.1onts until it had dotorminod tho amour of whtor which would bo availablo from tho nOV1 well. Clerk j" ohnson read a letter from L:r. 'lhomas of General adjustment Bureau relative to the damage to s\'Ii tches andsoforth at the pump house. rilr. 'rhomas stated his findings tQ be that all damago was mechanical and none from fire and tbBrefore such damage TIas not coverod by fmre insurance. Clerk Johnson TIas authorizod to order the necessary tax forms dor this years taxes. As all property ovmers concerned had not signed the petition the matter was referred to the stro ts committee. Clerk Johnson road a letter from wr. A. p. Long to the effoct that tho water service in his neighborhood had been oxtremely unsatisfactory for tho past few days. ~r. Johnson reported that hlh was of the opinion that the matter had already beon corrected.
