Hr. Cork roportod that ho and Er. lIcQuistion had mado an
inspoction of tho 'S. \iT. Coopor apartments and did not find
'furnishings of any valuo.

the bost price.

Eayor Nagol reported that he was rocoiving numorous complaints
concerning stray dogs, and he strongly recornrnondod that the
city.preparo an animal pound in ordor that tho matter can be
handlod"according to tho city ordiances. Mr. Goorgo statod
that Mr. Bob Goro expected to oroct an animal hospital in this
city within tho no~t few months, and suggested that Mr. Goro
be contacted to dotcrmino if it would be possible to make some
arrangements for the city to locato the proposed animal pound
on his proporty.
Police Chief Andersons report was read, acccptod and ordorod
fimod.
Chiof Andorson was instructed to handle-the traffic situation
tho sarno as last year for tho J. C.IS Laborday cclobration.
He was furthor instructod to endeavor to make arrangomonts with
Pomona Products for tho use of thoir toilot facilities, for the
general public~ on that day.
Tho clork read a copy of tho pUblished notico (said notice
attachod to these minutos) calling for tho changing of Block
124, 'from a R-2 lIultiplo Family District to a C-l Commercial
zono. No opposition to this change was offored and tho clork
reportod that none had boon rocoivod by mail.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE
'OF THE CITY OF CLERMONI' I FLORIDA I THE SAME BEING
ORDINANCE No. 48 OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT I FLORIDA
TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
You, and each of you, are hereby notified that on the 7th
day of August, A.D., 1951, at 7:30 P.M. in the City Hall in the
City.of Clermont, the qity Council of the City of Clermont will
consider and act upon a proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance
of the City of Clermont, the same being Ordinance No. 48, changing
the Zone of the following described property in the City of Clermont,
Florida, to-wit:
From an R-2 Multiple Family District to a C-l Commercial
District
Block l24, according to the map of the Townsite of
Clermont, being otherwise described as Block 124,
Sunset Park, according to the official map of the City
of Clermont duly filed on 4 February 1926 and recorded
in Plat Book 8, pages 17 to 23 inclusive, public records
of Lake County, Florida.
All persons interested will be heard at that time.
