G. Winston at 7:30 P~ M. with the following councilmen present:T. Co Cork, Jr., B. K. Ferguson and W. II" :McQuiston. Absent: C. R. Re,ed. . Minutes of the regular meeting of June 5, 1951 were read and approved as read. The council immediately uent into a general discussion perta~nin~ to the financial condition of the city. Chairman Winston gave comparative figures of actual receipts and disbursements with those set forth in the budget. The result disclosed the city to be in good financial Qondition and within their budget. Attorney Morse arrived at this time. r/Totion by Cork, seconded by UcQuiston that clerk Johnson authorized to dra~.Jl check on the interest and sinking fund, in the al!lount of ~);r>;025.00, and that same be deposited to the coupon account in the Bitizens bonk of Clermont; for the payment ,of interest on bonds falling due July 1st., 1951. Motion carriedo Motion by Ferguson, secondeq by McQuiston that city clerk' be authorized to use up to (i5,000.00 for the purchase of Clermont bonds, dated 1950; at, or below, par.
