MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF 'I'HE CITY COUEC il held
at the City Hall, Tuesday :March 7, 1950.
Council president called the meeting to order 7:30 P. M.
Also present R M Castner, W H McQuistion, C R Reid and E.
G. Winston councilmen. Mayor H T Williams, Engineer S L
Zelazo, Fire Chief Sheldon, Marshall R F Anderson and J B
Fullwood.

Mr McKinstry presented a petition signed by the residents of
"Division, or Adam St" requesting the name of the street be ",--
changed to "Palm Lane." Moved by Mr Castner this request
be granted. Seconded by Mr Winston and carried.
Mayor report read. Marshall report read. Fire Chief report read.
Moved by Mr Winston, City Attorney draw up an Ordinance that
all Female Dogs be prohibited Erom running on the streets at
certain periods. A penalty of $10.00 be charged owners for
violation. Seconded by Mr Reid and carried.
tetter from County Commissioner H K Stokes read, with reference
to a small block of land West of the City, ba~k of Wm Oswalt.
fhis was tabled until further investigation.
Moved by Mr Castner council rescind previous motion granting
the V F W permission to build a barbacue burner on lot l3
block 90, seconded by Mr Winston and carried.
Moved by Mr Winston that the Park Coomlittee confer with John
Schopmeyer regarding the Barbacue Burner, and allow it on
lot 13 block 90 if it will not injure the trees, seconded by
Mr Castner and carried.
Moved by Mr Winston, Engineer have authority to get load of
cold patch when available. Seconded by Mr Mcijuistion and
carried.

Clermont.
Clenk to notify Mr Ash~ey we accept the dates of April 7th
and 8th, ~ to 5 P. M. at which time all Clermont Dog owners
may bring their pets in for innoculation against rabies, and
secure Lice~e. The charge to be the same as last year. $2.00
for the Vet~narian and $1.00 for the ~icense.
Clerk to notify Pomona, Council cannot set a precedent by
taking over their watchmen.
Street Committee to investigate the St R/w Chestnut, at block 88.
Moved by Mr Castner that the bills be paid. Seconded by Mr
Winston and carried.
Moved by Mr Castner meeting adjourn. Seconded by Mr Winston.
