MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING CF THE CITY COUNCIL HELD
at City Hall, Monday December 12th, 1949, 7:00 P.M.
Written notices having been given, Vice President A. M.
Johnson called the meeting to order, for the purpose of
inspecting the Ballots and preparing the Ballot Box for
the General Election to be held December 13th, 1949.
Also present, R.M.Castner, F B Hoe, G A Nash and E G
Winston, councilmen. City Atty I F Morse.
Moved by Mr Winston, seconded by Mr Nash that the Ballots
be accepted, the Ballot Box properly prepared and the
Ballot Box and Key be turned over to the Clerk. Carried.
Moved by Mr Nash, seconded by Mr Winston meeting adjourn.

MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COuNCIL
HELD AT THE CITY HALL ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16th,
1949, PURSUANT TO WRITTEN NOTICE DULY GIVEN (the
purpose of said meeting being the canvass of the
election returns of the election of December 13th
1949.

Meeting called to order by Vice-president A.M.Johnson 7:00
P.M., other councilmen presnent, G A Na~ and E G Winston.
Upon motion made by Mr Winston, seconded by Mr Nash it is
resolved that the Certificate of result of the Election of
the O'i ty of Clermont, Lake County, Florid'a, be received in
the minutes of this meeting and made a part thereof.
Be it further resolved that in accordance with the results
of said election that Harry T Williams be and he hereby is
declared elected to the office of Mayor of the City ~
Clermont for a te5m of one (l) year, commencing on the
First Tuesday of anuary 1950.
That Axel Olivenbaum be and he hereby is declared elected
to the office of Treasurer of the Cit y of Clermont for a
term of one (l) year, commencing on the first Tuesday in
.anuary 1950.
~hat Frank S Bliven be and he hereby is delcared elected to
the office of Tax Assessor of the Ci ty of Clermont for a
term of one (l) year, commencing on the fir&t Tuesday in
.January 1950.
That W. H. McQuistion and Curtis R Reid were and they are
hereby declared elected as members of the City Council, of
the City of Clermont for a term of two (2) years, commenc-
ing on the first Tuesday of January 1950.
It is further declared that upon the qualification of said
officers elected as aforesaid, that they shall asslune the
duties of such office and hold the same and perform the
duties thereof for the term prescribed by law.
There being no 'further business, motion made by Mr Nash
seconded by Mr Winston that the meeting adjourn.
