11-15-1949 Regular Adjourned Meeting ~ 'WI' REGULAR ADJOuRNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL HELD AT City Hall, Tueaday November 15, 1949. Meeting called to ~der by President R. M. Castner 7:30 P.M. Also present, A M Johnson, G A Nash, E G Winston and F B Res, councilmen. Mayor H R Harper, Atty I F Morse. Mr Nash reported on the Police Car. Moved by Mr Winston seconded by Mr by Mr Roe that the City purchase a Standard' two door, eight cylinder Ford, from Clermont Auto Sales, for $895.00 and the old car, less police accessories. Upon taking a roll call vote, all councilmen being in favor, motion C'arried. Moved by Mr Winston, seconded by Mr Roe and carried, that Clermont join the other Cittes in Lake County in mosquito spraying, with the cost not to exceed $900.00. Mayor Harper was asked to arrange a meeting with Mr Hunnicutt regarding reassessing City property. Moved by ~llr Roe, seconded by Mr Winston and carried that ,1-', ,I / Pers onal PClI" perty Tax for Mrs Perry be cancelled. . . 1 Moved by Mr Jcllnson seconded by Mr Winston, Mr R@6 be authorized to repair l~ghts on shuffle board courts. Carried. Moved by Mr Roe, seconded by Mr Winston, meeting adjourn until December 2nd, at which time the City Registu~tion book be checked.
