Meeting called to order 7:30 P H. by President R M Castner.
Councilmen G A Nash, and E G Winston present, Assessor
R F House.
J McDonald asked permission for the American Legion to use
t~'e Jay Cees Beach on Labor Day. Moved by :Mr Nash seconded
by Mr Winston that the Legion use the Beach providing it is
agreeable with the Jay Cees. Motion carried.

held at City Hall, Tuesday July 19, 1949.
Meeting called to ~der 7:30 P M by Pres. R M Castner. Also
present Councilmen A 1.1 Johnson, G A Nash and E G Winston. Mayor
H R Rapper, City Atty I F Morse, City Supt A G Cole, Mr Crowe
of Black Lab.Mr Colegrove of Fla Power and J B Fullwood.
Mr Colegrove presented a project cr White Way Lighting for
Center Lake, and that he would bring in further details at
the next meeting.
Moved by Mr Winston seconded by Mr Nash and carried that the
revised tax roll be adopted~and Clerk send notices to tax

Board of Equalization meeting to be 'held August 16th, 1949
at City Hall, 8:00 P M.
Moved by Mr Johnson seconded by Mr Winston and carried that
the Assessment Roll be corrected as to property belonging to
Fratennal and Veterans Organizations and that the 1948 taxes
collected be refunded the Legion and V F W ~ Clermont.

Moved by Mr Winston seconded by Mr Johnson and carried that
Mr Crowe secure bids on equipment to install Booster Pump on
the City water lipes.
Hoved by Hr ranston seconded by Mr Johnson and carried that the
City purchase one T:Jayer Impactor, at a cost of ~)735., for street
repairs.
Eoved by Mr Winston seconded by Mr Nash that the Fee on Building
Permi t for the Episcopal Parsonage be waived. lilotion carried.
Clerk to inform Mr Ashton that the Ordinance prhibits commercial
business in residential jones.
