REGULAR ADJOURNED MEETING CF THE CITY COUNCIL HELD AT CITY HALL
Tuesday February 15, 1949.
roeeting called to order by President R. M. Castner 7:30 P.M.
Also present, A M Johnson, G A Nash, F R Roe, E G Winston,
Mayor H R Harper, City Atty I F Morse, Engineer A G Cole, and
J B Fullwood'.

Mr Johnson reported on the Water Committee meeting in Winter
Park. ~rite Black Laboratorie~ as recommended by Mr Lloyd King
of Winter Park, and ask thelfr repree:elnta tlve to meet with the
committee in Clermont.
Moved by Mr Roe sedonded by Mr Winston that City purchase I~
$500.00 bonds at 92% from Van Ingen of Miami, and offer local
bond holder 92%. Motion carried.
Moved by Mr Roe, seconded by Mr Johnson that the City Attorney
draw up an ordinance requiring all Clermont property owners to
clean up fire hazards on thier premises or pay the City for
cleening it. Motion carried.
Purchasing agent to order 25 concrete meter boxes VIIi th the
metal insert for meter reading.

Notify Auditor to keep to his agreement in auditing.
Moved by Mr Johnson seconded by Mr Nash than the meeting
adjourn.

Thla matter comlnj before the City Council at its
regular meeting hold on the 1st day of February, 1949, and it
pppearing from t.he petition filed herein by Inland Groves
Corporation, that there was never any dedication of any
street along Lake Drive West of the .western boundary of
n
lwe1fth Street other than a distance of approximately 130
feat \~est of the ~~'eetern boundary of said Twelfth Street, and
that the remainder of said Lake Drive lying North of Lots 1, to
22, inclusive, of Indian !Lilla, as the same is shown on the
Official ?iap of tho City of Clermont, has never boen dedicated
to, or has a right-or-way over said premises been acquired by
the City of Clermont for street purposes.
And it further ap~earing that the Inland Groves
Corporation, ., he owner of said premises, offers to maintain
such drivewRY as may be required, and requests tllat the City
do dAsc1aim any ann nIl right to any right-of-wny or ensement
over and across B9id premlses from the -'-est line of Twelfth
Street to the end of Luke Drive, as the Burne Is shown on sald
Offic la1 ".'ap.
