House. ...... -~~ Clerk was instructed to pay the Tax Certificate to George Dykes for: IJot 5, Block 2, Sunnyside Unit. Motion made by Mr. Nash seconded by Mr. Brice that dues be I?,aid to the Florida League of Eunicipalities, amounting to ~20.00. Motion carried. F. D. Colegrove, for Florida Power Corp. sent list of streot lights that have been orderee. by the City Council and said they would be installed as soon as possible at the following locations: 1. Hibiscus and Highland Avenues. 2. Anderson and Highland Avenues. 3. Tenth and Juniata Streets. 4. Tenth and Chestnut Streets. 5. Eleventh and Seminole Streets. 6. Carroll Street and Second Avenue. 7. Midway between Lake Street and Fifth Street on Montrose Stree 8. Midway between I.'innehaha and Lake Drive on Anderson Street. 9. West and Broome Streets. 10. IUdway between SemincJe Street and Chestnut St. on 6th Street Colonel Ford said the Chamber of Commerce had approved the layout of the Clermont Folders. I\~otion made by Mr. Nash seconded by Mr. . Brice th~ t the City of Clermont pay the Chamber of Commerce bill of 4li250.00 fo~ the folders. Motion carried. Fire School to be held in Ocala August 16th through the 27th; H. M. Cole t~ be sent for five days starting the 16th. Clerk was instructed 'to have the water cut off to users with delinquent bills. Mayor Harper reported the street repairs made by the Manley Construction Company were as follows: $ 1,534.26 ?..L379.00 i5~!9l3 .26 Motion made by Mr. Brice and seconded by Mr. Thompson that the bills be paid. Motion carried. Publix Market paid $702.50 for their share of widening the pavement. Mayor Harper reported about repairing the street. Also reports about Crash truck. A man was sent to Hobe Sound and Banana River, and those on sale were no good. Possibly Can get one from Tallahassee. See H. K. Stokes. . Mr. A. G. Cole reported tbat none of the R/W for the Cross State Highway had been acquired. Irving Morse came in about 9:30. He and Mr. Harper to see about deeds. Mr. Morse proposed gett'i..ng title to R/'vV in the City's name. Motion made by Mr. Brice and Seconded by Mr. Thompson that Bob Attkisson be given lake front lease in his property on: Lots 1-2-3-4, Block 46.
