Regular Meeting of' the city Council held at City Hall
Tuesday June 15, 1948.
Meeting called to order by President R. M. ~astner 7:30 P.M.
Councilmen present J~V.Brice, G.A.Nashand F. B. Roe. City
Attorney I. F. Morse, Mayor H.R.Harper, City Sup't A. G. Cole
Marshall C. A. Mattson and Oscar Rudd.

Mr Rudd asked the councilmen f~ a renewal of his lease on the
sand pit, and reported he turned in $217.85 to the City Clerk
for sand, far the past year. Motion made by Mr Roe seconded
by Mr Brice that this lease be renewwd for another year.
Mr R~ suggested that Mr McQuistion be given $25.00 per month as
care taker of the Community Building, as of May 1st, 1~48. All
Councilmen in favor.

Motion made by Mr Nash seconded by Mr Brice that the Recreation
Club be allowed to ere~t a 12 X 15 ft locker room on the North
of the Community Building. Aluminum construction with cement
floor. Motion carried.
Motion made by Mr Roe seconded by Mr Nash that the
C. B. Hull, for the sum of $575. to drill an eight
cased to rock, water to pass state Sanitary Test.
la submit bids on a pump and motor and 611 transite
connect to Lincoln Park. Motion carried.

Councilmen approved the new type check suggested by Mr Shepard.
Prices on printing to be secured.
Mr House to be advanced $200.000'ax Assessor's fee when typed
copies ~ the Tax Roll for 1948 are given to the councilmen far
approval.
Mr Harper agreed to ask Mr Nolan to submit three bids on re-
pairing the truck Mr Nolan damaged on a tree on Montrose Street.
Motion made by Mr Roo seconded by Mr Brice that Mr Kreider
write up policy which expirea on the Clinic July 21, 1948, and
that for $76. property damage of $1000.00 be added. Carried.
Mr Harper agreed to purchase a new flag for the City.
Motion made by Mr Brice seconded by Mr Nash to have Montrose
resurfaced from 7th to 8th streets including both intersections
if it can be done for $1500. Motion carried.
Motion made by Mr Nash seconded by Mr Brice that the meeting
adjourn. Carried.

Wed. July 28, 1948.
Meeting called by President R. M. Castner 4:00 P.M. written
noti~es given. Present, Mr Harper, Mr Roo, Mr Nash, Mr Brice
Mr Thompson and Mr Cole. Purpose ~ the mmeting was talk
over the condition of electrical wiring in City Hall and it
was decided to have faulty wires renewed and not have the entire
building rewired at this time.
Motion made by Mr Roe seconded by Mr Thompson ahat the ~eeting
adjourn.
