Meeting was called to order by President R. M. Castner.,
Councilmen present were J.V~Brice, F.B.Roe and T. F.
Thompson. Mayor H.R.Harper, City Supt A.a.Cole, Fire'
Chief H.M.Cole, Marshall C.A.Mattson and J.B.Fullwood.
Minutes a~ Febraary 3rd and 17th read and approved.
Mayor Harper advised that traffic control light fer
Montrose and 8th sts was necessary. Motion made by Mr
Roe seconded by Mr Thompson that one such light be ordered.
Motion carried.
Marshallfs"report read. $118.00 in fines and forfeitures
were colledted during Feb. and turned over to the City Clerk.
Mr Harper suggests an ordinance be written prohibiting
people in cars following and racing Fire Engine to fires.
Fire ~ieffs report read. Shields for the fire men were
recommended. Mr Nash, Mr Brice and Mr Thompson to look
over such equipment. Mr Harper offered to go in ~lace of
Mr Nash.
A.G.Cole reported on the condition of the electrical
wiring of City Hall. Mr Cole asked to secure bids on re-
wiring and for Fire escapes for City Hall.

Motion made by Mr Ree, seconded by Mr Brice that the Band
Shell in the park be painted. Motion carried.
Letter from Mr Kreider read offering the City lot 12 Block
82 in exchange of lot 4 block 90. tp be used for slg~t ~
Masonic Building.
Motion made by Mr Roe 'seconded by Mr Brice that the
resolution presented he tabled until 'a meeting City Attorney
attends. Carried.
Motion made by Mr Brice seconded by Mr-Thompson that the
bills be paid when funds are avai1able~ Motion carried.
Motion made by Mr Roe seconded by Mr ,hompson that the
meeting adjourn. Carried.
