The meeting was called to order by President F. B.
Roe, other councilmen present being R. M. Stackhouse,
F. H. Higby, C. W. Gaines and H. C. Brown.
A motion was made by Mr. Brown, seconded by Mr. Gaines,
that the motion of the sale of lots set for January 15, 1945,
made at the meeting of January 2, 1945, be rescinded. The
motion carried.
A motion was made by Mr. Gaine s, seconded by Mr. Brown,
that a committee be appointed to set prices for lots listed
and a repor t made to th, e City Counci 1. The President th. en
appointed the follaving committee: Mr. Stuart Bowman,
Chairman; Mr. Harry Stokes, Mr. Irving Morse, Mr. F. H.
Higby and Mr. W. W. Boyd, and requested a letter be sent
each and to meet at the call of tne Chairman. The motion
carried 0
A motion was made by Mr. stackhouse, seconded by Mr.
Gaines, that a night patrolman be appointed indefinitely
at a salary of ~~32.50 per week, and Mr. J. D. Highsmith
vIas ap-pointed to fi 11 same. The moti on carried.
There being no further business at this time, the
Council adj ourned at 6: 15 p.m. to meet at the call of the
presi dent.
