08-15-1944 Special Board Meeting ~ .., ~ ~ ~~-i-' _ Ci ty CI,erk CITY OF CLERMONT MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL SITTING AS THE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION Ql TAXES, HELD AT THE CITY HALL TUESDAY, AUGUST 15, 1944, 7:30 P.M. The meeting was called to order by president F.B.Roe, other Counsilmen present being R.M.Castner, C.W.Gaines, F.H.Higby, and R.M.Stackhouse. Mayor H.U.Br~wn, City Attorney Irving F. Morse, Tax Ass8essor G.A.Nash, City Clerk R.F.House, and Marshal C.E.Sullins were also present. The following persons appeared and protested against raises in assessments on their properties: LuIs. M. Keene MiSS Ella Warher E.G.Winston,2 pcs and personal Air Konditioning Co Mrs. J.C.Barr Rollin Ebinger Mrs. K.E.E.Munson T.O.Cork for Dre Fox, Chas R. Short, Mrs. Minnie Johnson. J. C. Lochner A. Ziber Wm Kern, 7 pieces The Couneil listened to the protests and told them they would consider each one, and adTise them if any changes were made in the assessment.
