The meeting was called to order by president Geo.
II. Nagel, other Councilmen present being R.E.Castner,
c. 1J. Gaines, F. H. Higby, and F. B. }toe. Hayor H. c. Brown,
~.'Jarshal C.E.Sullins, and City Clerk R.:8'.House "\:1ere also
present.

The report of tho election was read:

election do hereby certify the result of the

Mr. Roe made a motion that the report. be accepted,
and the following persons declared elected to the
position set oP9osite their names:
H. C. Brown Mayor
Geo. Brady Treasurer
G. ~\.. Nash Tax Assessor
R. M. Castner Councllman
R. H. Stackhouse Councilman
The motion was seconded by Mr Higby, and when put to a
vote, the motion carried.
Mr. Roe reported that a good job had been done in
repairing and painting the Community Building in Kehlor
Park, also that the signs had been repainted.
~~or Brovm read his report, stating their were 10
cases in his court- 1 dismissed, 1 sen~ to the County, and
8 fines amounting to 150.00 assessed, ~;163.00 collected.

rare Hoe made a motion, which was seconded by Mr.
Castner, and carried- that M~yor Brown wr~te a letter
to the l'Jomel1' s Club expressing the appreciation and thanks
of the City Officials for their splendid care and operation
of the Library for the past year.
r.larshal Sullins reported 10 arrests, 1 case dismissed,
1 turned over to the County, 8 fined, with a total of ~~163. 00
cQllected and turned over to the City Clerk.
Fire Chief Achord reported two fire calls in December
with 12 firemen answering calls; and the engine checked
Dec. 5, 12, 19, 26, 1943 and found O.K.
Leedy-tJheeler reported two ~:)2 50.00 bonds for sale.
Mr. Roe made a motion, seconded by Mr. Higby and carried
th~ thG City buy the bonds if still available at 84 flat.
Mr. Roe made a motion, seconded by Mr Gaines and
carried, that the following bills be approved and paid
when funds are available:
