The meeting ';,ras called to order by president Geo. 11.
Nagel, other Councilmen present being R.M.Castner, C.'.7.Gaines,
F. H. Higby, and F. B. Roe. Mayor H.G.Brown, City Atty.
Irving F. Morse, Tax Assessor G.~LNash, and City Clerk R.F.
House were also present.
Er. Roe rJade a motion that the City take title to the
property of the Bowling Alley. The motion was seconded by
Mr. Higby, and when put to a vote, the motion carried.
Mr. ROe moved that the council authorize the Mayor and
City Attorney to make applications to the War Production
Board for priorities for building materials to be used in
the Bowling Alley. The motion was seconded by Mr. Higby,
and when put to a vote, the motion carried~
Mr. Higby made a motion tha t t~10 Building Committee of
the City Coun!il be authorized to let a contract for building
the Bowling Alley. The motion was seconded by Mr. Ganes,
and when put to a vote, the motion carried.
Mr. Gdnes made a motion that th assessment roll a s
changed by the, Council and altered by the Assessor, be accepted.
There being no second to the motion, it was dropped.
Mr. Higby made a motion that the roll a s corrected by
the Assessor be accepted. The motion was seconded by Mr.
Roe, and when put to a vote the motion carried with one vote
opposing it.
There being no further business at this t~me, the Council
adjourned, to meet at the call of the president.
