01-05-1943 Regular Meeting CITY OF CLERI:ONT MIf'.J"1.J"TES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL HEIJD AT THE CITY HALL TUESDAY, JANU&~Y 5, 1943, 7:00 P.N. The meeting was called to order by President Geo. M. Nagel, other Councilmen present being R. M. Castner, G.J. Egan, C. W. Gaines, and R.V.Miller. Mayor H.C.Brown and City Clerk R. F. House were also present. ~ .., Minutes of the meetings Dec. 2nd, 7th and 9th were rea.d and approved. The Fire Chief's report was read. There were no fires in December, and the engine was checked each week and found O.K. Miller were retiring from the Council after their two year terms, and that he wished to express his thanks for their co-operat~on and efforts in running the affairs of the City. ~ ~ Fr. Gaines made a motion that a vote of thanks and good wishes be extended to the retiring Councilmen R.V.Miller and G. J. Egan, and that the action be recorded in the minutes of this meeting. The motion was seconded by Mr. Castner, and when put to a vote, the motion carried.
