Tr1e meeting was called to order by President H.R.Ha rper,
other Councilmen present being C. i}. Gaines, I'~. M. Miller, and
GeCb. Nagel.
Mr. Geo r:lucenoek appeared before the Board, and aslwd that
the assessment on his property described as:S~ of Gov't lot 4,
Sec 25-22-25, less ho~estead and loss North 200 ft west of lake
Benona, assessed $1000, be considered in comparison with other
properties of a similar nature. Upon consideration of the
assessment it was unanimously adopted that the assessment-as
made by tho Tax Assessor of the City of Clerr.1ont do stand.

Thore baing :..10 further complaints before the City
Council, sitting as a Board of Equalization, and because
the City Clerk had beon unable to notify all property
owners of an increase in assessnent, if any, upon Dotion
of r-::r. Hagel, seconded by 1'.11'. Miller it was Ullanimously
voted that t~is noeting do adjourn Qntil 8:00 P.M., August
31st, 1942 in t:1.0 City Hall; and that the City Clerk do
notify on or before August 17th, 1942 all pro~ty owners
of the increase of assessment, if any made, and that the
Board of Equa.lization would mOGt in an adjourned meeting
on August 31st, 1942, at the City Hall of tho City of
Clerrnont to hear and consider any complaints of the
increase in assessnent.
