A copy of the Ordinance appears in rull, following the minutes of this meeting. Mr Lassiter tmde a motion that theDeed from Lee J. Sandridge to the Cityon lot 8 and S.3acres of lot 7,block M; and the deed from the Executors of the Richardson Estate to t1e City on all of block 6, be accepted by theCity and filed fer recordo The motion was seconded by Mr. Johnson, and when put to a vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mayor Brown read his report, in which he made recommendations for the Counc il to consider. The wonen of the Welfere League m va prepared plans and a WP^ proje ct appliQl t1 on for thm for the construction of a Clinic Building which they propose to build on the lot adjoining the City Hal property. In order to secure WPA funds for this work the pr oje ct mus t 00 sponsored by the Ci ty Council and become City Prope rty. The Welfare League is prepared to assume all responsibility of operation and there will be no liability on the part of tte City unless the Counc il wish to assune any obligat ion..
