of Mayor H.C.Brown, Friday, June 24, 1938.
The meeting was called to order by president O.H.Keene,
other Councilman 00 ing Roy Lassiter, Geo. Robinson and F.B.
Roe. Mayor Brown, City ClGh, R.F. House, and Street Supt.
R.F.Anderson wern also present.

Mayor Brown stated that the meeting had been called
for tho purpose of discussing a WPA project to improve
certain streets. Mr. A. H. Still of Orlando, ~ho.has charge
of WPA projects in this area, presented an outline of the
Project; showing the probable cost, the amount to be paid
fr'om Federal funds, an:l the amount to be f1..Jrnished by the
City.
A resolution was offered by Mr, Robinson, authorizing
the ~ayor and the City Clerk to sign the project as outlined
by Mr. St~ll. Mr. Robinson moved the adoption of th0
Resolution, provided satisfactory arrangereents can be Imde
for use of equipment. Mr. L3ss1ter seconded the motion.
On roll c81l, the vote was as follows:
Ayes- L&Sf.dter, RObinson,Roe, Keene
Noes- None.
so the resolution was adopted.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned
to meet at the call of the President.
