Meeting called to or~er by President O.~.Keene, other
councilmen present being Wm.Kern, ~$0.R~o~n~on and F.B.Roe.
Mayor S.O.Ware and Marshall Sullins were also present.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Mayor Ware reported five cases tried-$19.00 in fines
collected-One prisonen escaped.

Marshall Sullins reported five arrests-follr paid their
fines amounting to $19.00, which was turned over to the City
.Clerk-One prisoner ~ot away.
By motion of Robinson, seconded by Kern, which carried
the fo~lowing bills were approved and ordered paid when funds
are available.

S.ff.Bowman then submitted a proposition of Mr.Vfuite,
o~~er of the Lake Hi~hlands Rotel, tG deed to th~ City of
Clermont 50A. of land alon~ the south side of Minnehaha Ave.
near the ];ast City limits for the use of a golf couBue, the
land to revert to him in ca.se the golf course was aban.doned-
proil-ided, the City cancel all paving l:lens against the land
for the golf course, also the pavin~ liens on the 40A. lyin~
directly north of there abbutting on Minnehaha Ave.
By mmtion of Robinson, seconded by Roe, which carried,
the Council}a~reed to take mr. ~bit~s proposal under advisement
and see -if funds could be obtained to put the course in shape
for playing.
Pres. Keene appointed Roe and Robinson to confer with
Mr. White and those interested ~s to plans and costs of
putting the course in shape for play, and to report at the
next meetin~.
A letter from the State Safety Director,Asher Frank, was
read, with a suggested Ordina.l1ce requirin~ li~hts on animal
drmvn vehicles after sundotrn. By motion of Robinson seconded
by Roe, which cal'ried, the letter was turned over to the City
Attornoy for draftin~ such Ordinance.

Marshall Sullinn was instructed to enfol'ce the Ordil1ance
regardi46 lights on bicycles.

was read and by motion of Roe seconded by O~den, which carried,
the Clerk was instructed to return the questionaire marked
"No Ordinance, no work donell.
A le":ter from 1~!'. & Mrs. P.W.Bryant was read and orde;red
filed for further consideration.

A Petition si~ned by 34 citizens of Clermont was read,
askin~ that the Colored Church on Fifth Street between
ni~land Ave. and Chestnut Street be declared a public
nuisance on account of the loud and unnecessary noises
ccmin~ from there at all hours of the night. After some
discussion a motion was made by Roe ,seconded by Robinson
which carried, that Mayor Ware and Marshall Sullins be
requested to ~o to tl e heads of the Church and have the
noise abated.

By motion of Roe,seconded by Kern, vn1ich carried, the
water committee was instructed to make arran~eIT-ents to have
the city water tank painted.
By motion of Robinson, seconded by Roe, which carried,
211 water lines are to be laid down DrewwStreet, and Sixth St.
as soon as material can be obtained and the work done.
By motion of Roe seconded by Hobinson, which carried,
tho salary of Ernest Sanders is raised to $65.00 per month.
Mayor Ware repo~ted that he had ~iven permission to
M.R.Wagner to remove two trees in front of his place on
Seventh Street. He also reported ~lacin~ temporary
insurance on the Building being erected in Kehlor Park.
250 canceled bonds and 770 canceled coupons, all paid
prior to 1930, were examined and burned on the lot east of
the City ~all in the p~ence of Councilmen O.H.Keene,Wm Kern,
Geo Robinson and F.B.Roe, and Marshall C.E.Sullins. The list
of these bonds and coupons being on the accompanin~ sheots.
There bein~ no furthar.' business the Council adjourned
to meet at the call of the president.
