11-19-1935 Regular Meeting MINUTES OF MEETING OF' 'l'RE CITY COUNCIL llliLD ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 1935. The Council met at the call of Fresident Keene at . 7:30 P.Wl., Tuesday, November 19,1935, at the City Hall. Councilmen present were Keene, Kern, Robinson and Roe. Mayor Ware, l\J:arshall Sullins and 'glty Attorney Hestbrook were also present. ~ "-'" ~..- Ww. Williams, representing C. Cecil Bryant, certified public accountant, reported the result of the audit of the City books and records for the period beginning Novembe r 1,1933 and ending October 31, 1935. Motion by rlobinson seconded by Roe that report be accepted and auditor be thanked for thormness of audit. Motion carried. Motion by Roe seconded by Robinson that Clerk have J. P. Achord cut off water supplied to the Pressing Club through Achord's water line. Motion carried. The City Clerk was instructed to make arrangements with S. S. Fessler to take care of water bill for all water used in Fessler Bldg. ~otion by Robinson, seconded by Roe that water used for construction purposes be charged at gallonage rate plus one service charge while work is underway, with regular monthly rate after work is completed or if building is occupied. Motion carried. The bill of C. Cecil Bryant amounting to ~OD audit of th City books was presented and of Robinson secon~ed by Roe, ordered paid as funds are available. Motion carried. $292.50 on motion soon as j,-v' Mr. Williams offered to make a monthly audit and assist in the monthly balance sheet f~ $25.00 per month. Motion by Robinson, seconded by Ogden that Mr. Williams be employed at the above rate for three months, motion carried. After some discussion, Councilman Hoe agreed to see that some bad holes in the streets were repaired. Motion by Roe seconded by Kern that the Street Committee get a truck to replace the one now in use. Motion carried. Motion by Robinson seconded by Hoe that Mayor Ware have the pipe to the furnace in the City Hall repaired. Motion carried.
