Minutes regular meeting Clermont City Council
held at the City Hall October 1, 1935
Meeting called to order at 7;40 P.M. by President Keene.
Councilmen present moe, Robinson & Ogden and Mayor Ware.
Minutes of previous meeting read and approved.
Mayor reports six arrests five trial~ with fines of $1.00
and costs and 30 days labor on streets assessed against
each.

After some discussion with reference to putting the
-:street lights back on d>t was agreed that this be postponed
until finances are in better shape.
After some discussion it was moved, seconded and
carriod that the practiue of allowing water bills to be
worked out be discontinued, and all bills beginning with
October First must be paid in cash.
It was regularly moved, seconded and carried that
the marshall proveed with fixing the jail room in the
socond stor,r at a cost not to exceed ~100.00.
By motion which was seconded and carried m~E.
Denslow is to work under instructions from Mayor ~~are.
1ho clerk was instructed to advertise for bids
for repairing the roof of the City Hall. The kind of
material to be used to be specified in the bid and the
city to reserve the right to reject all bids.
