Meetinc called to order at 7;45 P.M. By President
Miller. Councilmen present Kern, Roe, Keena and Mayor
Ware.

Minutes of previous meetinc read and approved,
Marshall Sullens reported three arrests and $15.00 in
fines collected.

Mrs. Stokes appeared before the Council ans asked that an
erdinance be passed requirinc the quarantine ot persons
with cummunicable diseases; alse pass necessary sanitation
ordinances to prevent the spread of hookworm. The clerk was
instructed to write to the State Board of Health and tunn
the information over to the Committee on Sanitation, which
was authorized to appoint ~ health officer and make
reco~endations back to the Council next peetinc.
It was broucht to the attention of the Council that school
pupilS were ridinc on the outside of oars thereby endancerinc
lives, and the marshall was instructed to ask car owners
, to discontinue this dancerous practice.

A sUCJested copy of by laws for the reculation ot the
cemetary was then read as prepared by Chai~an Miller,For
consideration by the Council. The matter was deferred till'
the next meetinc so as to include in the by laws prices .t
the loy.

meet at the call of the PreSident.
