Minutes regular adjourned meettnc held at the
Ci~ Hall February 7, 1931.
Meetinl called to erder at Eight Ten O'Clock A.M
by President Miller. Councilmen present Kern, Ree, Keene,
House, Mayor Ware and At'.rne,. Westbrook.
Attorney Westbrook then advised the City Council
tha t the &iemm Estate hali sued the City on past due bonds
ot $4,000.00 and accrued interest, and asked the CounCil's
whtJhher er not they wished to defend the suit. After seme
discussion it was z.~~.w.~ meved, seconded and carried
that Mr. ~Vestbrook detent the suit.

Atter some discussion with reference to the
bonded debt situation the Ci~ Attorney was autherized
to take up with the bondholders the proposition of tradinc
a $250.00 Class A bond, which is payable trom direct
taxatien and a $750.00 Class B Bond , for which we ~ledce
oue pavlna assessments receivable, tor each $1,000.00
Bond now outs'andinc.
By Motion which was seconded and carried the
water committee was instructed to cover up the pit at
the foot ot West Avenue .
