Councilmen present, Miller, Kern and Perry. and Mayor

It was !'loved, seconded and carried that a bill
from Honor Howell for $7.50 rental on tools and
oakum and lead be tabled.

By motlon which was Benonded and carried the clerk
was instruc~ed to have R.F. Bailey bui!d and put a
door on the punlp house south of the tank.

was inst:r:'ucted to a0vertis6 that the Council would sit
as" an equalization Board to hear complain.ts at eight
o'Clock P.M. Uctober 3rd, ~
By motion which was seconded and carried the clerk was
instructed to purchase 3 street brooms to be used by
workers in cleaning up the streets.
By motion which was seconded and carried the Fire
Committee was instructed to request the Fire Chief.' to
fl~sh the f're Hydrants every three months and see that
the fire truck is taken out at least once each week to
be sure it is in working order.

change in rat3s, rules and regulationsJ
That tho rates for users beginning September 1, 1933,
shaJ,l be as follil>VJs; $1.00 per month service charge to
each user plus 25 cents per thousand gallons or ~raction
thereof for the first 10,000 gallons. 20fi per t1-ousand
for the next 15,000 gallons. l5~ per thousmnd for the
next 75,000 gallons. 12~~ per thousand gallons for the
next 400,000 gallons, and 10~ per thousand gallons for
allover 500,000 gallons.
Whore there is no mete~ the rate shall be $2.00 per
month except in Edgewood and Lincoln Park, and vlhere
there is r,o plu.mbing in the house, in which case the
rate shall be ~j>l.25 per month to each user.

All meters shall be read each month, and pROper amount char-
ged to user. In case the user claims the aI'lOunt is not
ri&ht, or there is an apparent error in the meter reading
meter shall be checked as to reading and tested as to
accunacy. If found correct the charge shall stand, :i,f
incorrect the proper adjustment shall be made by the water
committee..
Present users who have not a $10.00 deposit on city oV'med.
st9.l1oe,rd meters shall deposit $1.00 per month until the
required $10.00 is reached. New users s~~ll deposit ~5.00
the first month and (pl.OO per month until the required
~10.00 is readhed. Deposits ~ill be returned upmn
discontinuance of service after all bills are paid in
full. lieters ovmed by individuals may be taken over by the
city at any time crediting the owner withn $10.00 meter
deposit and $1.00 chn 'che water account. 1t
A street foreman shall be hired by the Street and Park
Committee to oversee those working out water accounts.
and such foreman shall be paid at the r8,te of aort per
hour. Only those approved by all three members of the water
committee will be allowed to vlOrk out water bills.
A motion was then amde that the above rules and
regule.tions be adopted. The motion was seconded a,nd upon
being put to a vote carried unanimously.
Mr. Perry then introduced the follovIing ordinance;

AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE OWNER OR PERSON HAVING
THE CUSTODY OF ANY UNLICENSES DOG OR DOGS FRDr.r PER~lITTING
THE SAID UNLICENSES DOG OR DOGS TO RUN AT LARGE WITHIN
THE CORPO}~TE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT' AND PROVIDING
A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIOn OF THIS ORDINANCE. which was' rea,d,
in full and numbered Ordinance Number 17. Mr. Kern then ill.:.....-:-.
that the rules be waived and ,that Ordinance No. 17 be placed
on it's second reading and passage. The motion was seconded
by Councilman ~iller and upon vote being taken the motion
carried unanimously.
