I\Iayor elect lI-Jinston was then sworn into office by r'etiring Mayor Ware. The Mayor then administered the oath of office to councilmen elect House, Miller and Ke~, ana Assessor elect Mts. K.D. Chase. --4Il& By motion which was seconded and carried the meeting adjourned for the purpose of .re-organizing and R.F. House was n8n1ed President Pro tem. Mr. House then called the meeting to order and stated that the first thing in the order of business would be the election of a President and Vice President for the coming year. R.H. House was elected President and R.V. Miller was &lected Vice President by acclamation. I Mr. Short then introduced the following resolution; " Be it resolved that the Citizens Bank of Clermont be and is hereby designated as the depository for city funds, and the City Treasurer be and is hereby authorized and directed to deposit all funds of the City of ClernlOnt in said Citizens Bank of Clermont until the further order of the Council. In the event fUnds of the City on deposit in such bank shall be in excess of $1,000.00 the City Treasurer shall require securiny from the said depository in the amount of such excess. Bpon roll call the vote was as follows; Ayes; Short, Prrry, Kern, House and I\1iller Noes; None. By mot~on which was seconded and carried Oarl Kindred is to remain as Clerk and Tax collector.at a salary of $125.00 per month After some discussion with reference to the office of Marshall a motion was made seconded and carried that L ~ Chas. C. ee be contioued.at a salary of ~95.00 per month.
