~reasurer S.P. Settle then submitted a report showing
a total of ~~572 .01 in the various city funds. The report
was accepted as read.
The followinG bills were approved and ordered paid.

The Clerk then stated that petitions had been signed by
more than twenty five voters to have the followiut names
placed on the ballott for the City election Dece,ber 13th.

For Treasurer; S.P. fiB.~b Septle, For Asses~30r K.D. CHase.
The clerk was instructed to have 300 ballotts prepared
with the above names printed on same.
Mr. I'estbrook then read a letter of resignation as
City Attorney, same to take effect January First, as all his
time is needed for attention to his own business. The Council
accepted his resignation with regrets and gave him a vote
of thanks for valuable services rendered since beinB city
attorney.
